For over twenty years Diana Vincent has attracted the attention of jewelry connoisseurs and collectors who have faithfully passed on the word of her astonishing design abilities and impeccable craftsmanship. Consistently at the forefront of the international jewelry design industry she is recognized by her peers as one of America's most creative and original jewelry designers. It is simple elegance that has become a hallmark of her work.
Throughout her life Diana was constantly exposed to the finest in style and design while attending the New York fashion shows of her uncle, internationally acclaimed couturier James Galanos. In 1976 Diana entered the highly regarded Tyler school of art in Philadelphia to study metalsmithing and jewelry design. From there she went on to Tyler in Rome graduating with a BFA in 1980. As a result she developed an unerring eye for the cutting edge of fashion design and adornment combined with a technical understanding unique to the American Jewelry industry.
Diana quickly established herself as one of the country's pre-eminent jewelry designers. After just one year in business she rocketed to international fame by becoming the youngest recipient of the most prestigious award in the jewelry industry the much coveted DeBeers Diamonds International Award in Paris 1984. That same year she received the Best New Designer of The Year Award from the Jewelers of America. Diana's talent was recognized again when she won her second DeBeers Diamonds International Award in Milan 1986 distinguishing her as the only American to win the bi-annual award in consecutive years.
Since then Diana has continued to harvest accolades with amazing regularity and has been honored to have her designs installed into DeBeers Private International Collection. She is a previous board member of the American Jewelry Design Council and is the co-founder and vice president of the International Jewelry Design Guild.
Diana's artistic vision and distinctive style have not only won her international acclaim but also put her on the pages of Vogue, InStyle , Martha Stewart, Town & Country, Modern Bride and countless other national and international magazines. Her jewelry is repeatedly seen at the Academy Awards, the Vogue VH1 Fashion Awards and is showcased in the finest stores worldwide….
